Coins, which are Habbo's main form of currency which can be used to buy furni and Habbo Club, can be purchased through a variety of methods. Sulake is affiliated with many brands and retailers which provide methods of buying coins. This article contains all legitimate methods to buying coins.

Note: Always ask the bill payer's permission to buy coins before purchasing. Buying coins without the bill payer's permission is considered fraud and may result in a permanent ban.

This article describes coin purchasing methods for Habbo.com; methods for international hotels are unknown.

After the English Hotel merge, coin purchasing methods were divided into separate categories for each country. This article will list the methods according to each type, then further categorize each method according to country. Coins can be purchased through any of the following methods:

Prepaid cards

Prepaid cards are cards sold by retailers. These cards have a special code, and when redeemed, the player will receive the amount of coins based on the value of the card purchased.

Malaysia

  • 1 sen = 50 coins
  • 2 sen card = 125 coins
  • 3 sen card = 1000 coins

No card and free

Canada

  • C$10 card = 50 coins
  • C$25 card = 125 coins † $25 cards are only available at 7-Eleven stores.

Cards can be purchased in Canada at any of the following retailers:[1]

  • Walmart
  • 7-Eleven

Australia and New Zealand

  • AU$10 card = 50 coins
  • AU$20 card = 100 coins
  • AU$50 card = 250 coins
  • NZ$10 card = 50 coins
  • NZ$20 card = 100 coins

Cards can be purchased in Australia and New Zealand at any of the following retailers:[2]

Singapore

  • S$6 card = 20 coins
  • S$18 card = 60 coins
  • S$45 card = 200 coins

Scratch Cards differ from Prepaid cards, and require the use of Habbo's store locator[3] to find sellers.

Malaysia

  • RM6 card = 10 coins
  • RM12 card = 20 coins

Scratch Cards differ from Prepaid cards, and require the use of Habbo's store locator to find sellers. Scratch Cards in Malaysia can also be found at the PC Game website[4]

Philippines

  • PHP50 card = 8 coins
  • PHP100 card = 18 coins

Scratch Cards differ from Prepaid cards, and require the use of Habbo's store locator to find sellers.

Home phone

Coins can be purchased through home phone. This method is limited to players in Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia.

Canada

Each call is C$3 for 15 coins.

For Canada, call the following number: 1-900-528-6005. Enter your Habbo ID number, which can be found when you visit the Home Phone section of the Credits page. Your Habbo ID should contain 8 digits; add a zero at the beginning if yours only has 7.[5] You can only purchase coins by home phone 15 times per 7 day period.

This method is not available for Voice-over IP plans or Rogers subscribers.

United Kingdom

Each call is £3 for 35 coins.

For United Kingdom, call the following number: 0906 900 0900. Enter your Habbo ID number. Calls cost £1.50 per minute plus network extras. You must stay on the line for two minutes.

From the UK section of the Credits page: "UK only - Call costs are those charged by BT. If you call from another provider (EG One.Tel) you may be charged at a higher rate - contact your provider for details. Calls from a payphone will be considerably more. If your phone blocks the number when you dial out, you will not be able to call for Habbo Coins. Please speak to your phone service provider to find out how to lift the block. Spending limit: £25/week"[6]

Australia

Each call is AU$3 for 12 coins.

For Australia, go to the credits main page, then under pay-by-call click the Continue button. It will redirect you to a page with steps on how to precede.

Cell phone/SMS

In many regions, users have an option to purchase Habbo Coins with their own Cell phones.

United States

These are the rates. $3.99 for 20 Coins, and $4.99 for 25 Coins.

You have to fill in your cell phone number, then the system will text you a code you have to enter to redeem your credits. Link: https://billing.sulake.com/payment-integrations/online/hhus_zong/user/executePayment [7]

From the US section of the Credits page: "Get Coins & a Tip of the Day with your Sprint PCS, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Nextel, T-Mobile®, Boost, Cellular One by Dobson Cellular Systems, & U.S. Cellular cell. After confirming the purchase, you will be automatically charged $1.99-5.99 using the billing method selected by you. Msg & data rates may apply. You may remove your number from our database by sending the word STOP from your mobile device to 25584. Charges will be billed to your cell phone or deducted from your prepaid account. For HELP call toll free 888 515 4540 ."

Canada

Each text message is C$5 for 25 coins.

Navigate to the Credits page for Canada, then click continue under the Cell/Home Phone after selecting the payment plant, then you have to fill out your phone number and you will get a text message with a code you will have to enter to redeem the credits.

From the Canada section of the Credits page: "Supported Canadian carriers: Bell Mobility, Rogers, Virgin, Telus, Fido, MTS, SaskTel. Purchasing limits/calendar month: 13 purchases (C$40.00)"

United Kingdom

Each text message is £1.50 for 12 coins or £3 for 25 coins.

There are two numbers available to text, depending on how many coins you are purchasing. Text HABBO to 78881 if you are buying 12 coins for £1.50 or 78889 if you are buying 25 coins for £3. Enter the code received on the Credits page to redeem the coins.

From the UK section of the Credits page: "UK only - Operators: Virgin, Vodafone UK, O2, Tesco, T-Mobile, 3 Mobile & Orange Mobile. Spending limit: £30/week."

Australia

Each text message is AU$3 for 12 coins.

Text HABBO to 199 42226. Enter the code on the Credits page to redeem the coins.

From the Australia section of the Credits page: "SMS provided by Be.interactive. Helpdesk 1800 65 33 44. Customers under the age of 18 must have the bill payer’s permission before using the service. Optus Turbo Charge Prepaid: can only purchase Coins using the "My Credit" part of the Prepaid plan. Vodafone prepaid "Capped" plans don't support Premium Rate SMS. Virgin Mobile Prepaid & 3 customers can purchase Coins max. 3 times/h."

New Zealand

Each text message is NZ$3 for 12 coins.

Text HABBO to 5432. Enter the code on the Credits page to redeem the coins.

From the New Zealand section of the Credits page: "Supported operators: Telecom, Vodafone and Two Degrees"[8]

Singapore

Each text message is S$9.63 for 30 coins or S$3.21 for 10 coins.

Text Habbo9 to 76688. Enter the code on the Credits page to redeem the coins. From the Singapore section of the Credits page: "The Technical Service Provider is Ericsson Telecommunications Pte Ltd. Spending limit: $30/week. If you have reached this limit, please try again after 7 days."

Malaysia

Each text message is RM6 for 10 coins.

Text HABBO to 36263. Enter the code on the Credits page to redeem the coins.

From the Malaysia section of the Credits page: The Technical Service Provider is Ericsson Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Spending limit: RM60/week. If you have reached this limit, please try again after 7 days."

Philippines

Each text message PHP60 for 18 coins.

Text HABBO60 to 29101. Enter the code on the Credits page to redeem the coins.

Credit/debit card

Coins can be purchased through credit/debit card order. All countries accept Visa and MasterCard, but some accept more cards. Prepaid credit cards can't be used when using this method due to verification issues.

Buying coins through this method requires the billpayer's permission. Your account may be permanently banned if you are caught buying coins without permission.

United States

  • 60 coins for US$9.95
  • 180 coins for US$29.95

Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard.[9]

You can submit a maximum of 3 purchases per eight day period.[10]

Canada

  • 50 coins for C$9.95
  • 110 coins for C$19.95
  • 250 coins for C$42.50

Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Interac.

You can submit a maximum of 3 purchases per eight day period.

United Kingdom

  • 40 coins for €5
  • 80 coins for €10
  • 225 coins for €25
  • 500 coins for €50

Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Paysafe Card, Wallie-card.

You can submit a maximum of 3 purchases per eight day period.

Australia

  • 50 coins for AU$9.95
  • 100 coins for AU$19.95
  • 275 coins for AU$49.95

Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard. You can submit a maximum of 1 transaction per day.

New Zealand

  • 60 coins for NZ$9.95
  • 180 coins for NZ$29.95

Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard.

Singapore

  • 20 coins for S$6
  • 60 coins for S$18
  • 100 coins for S$30
  • 200 coins for S$60

Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express


There is a limit of 5 transactions within a 7 day period.

Malaysia

  • 60 coins for RM9.95
  • 180 coins for RM29.95

Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard.


You can submit a maximum of 3 purchases per eight day period.

Philippines

  • 60 coins for PHP9.95
  • 180 coins for PHP29.95

You can submit a maximum of 3 purchases per eight day period.

Money order

A Money order involves sending money to Sulake's office in California. Using this method can purchase up to 600 coins. This method is strictly limited to USD (US dollars) and any other currencies will not be accepted.[11]

Prices:

  • 30 coins = $5
  • 60 coins = $10
  • 120 coins = $20
  • 180 coins = $30
  • 240 coins = $40
  • 300 coins = $50
  • 600 coins = $100

To order, select the desired amount of coins. Send money in an stamped envelope to: Sulake, Inc 225 Santa Monica Blvd. -- 4th Floor Santa Monica, CA 90401 USA

On the envelope, include your username, e-mail address registered with that account, name, and phone number in case the purchase couldn't be completed.

Online

You can also purchase Credits online at certain websites that are officiated by Sulake. Note: These websites can be used to buy Credits from any country in the world. After you buy the Credits you will will receive the code depending on the sites rules and conditions. These websites are:

Trivia

  • An old subscriber bonus came with free furni. However, after the merge, the system unexpectedly vanished from the payment options. (See here for the group page). However, the concept of a "subscriber bonus" came back to its current system today.
