Boosting (also called AFK boosting) is the act of "automatically" earning achievement badges for certain activities without having to actually do the task manually. In a broad sense, boosting allows players to quickly complete achievements with little to no effort. Rooms dedicated to boosting are called "boosting rooms", often with a group attached to it.
Types of boosting activities[]
Games[]
Games are the most common activities for boosting. Boosting rooms for games are complex and use Wired furni to create loops to repeat the action.
"Boostable" games include:
- Battle Banzai
- Freeze
- Football
- Skateboarding/Ice skating
- Ice Tag
Quests[]
In certain promotional quests, there are a number of tasks players must do to receive their Achievement badges. Boosting rooms usually include all, if not most, of the furni required to complete the quest in one room.
