On the 24th of August 2012, the ecotron was replaced with the Furni-Matic. The Furni-Matic is fundamentally the same as the ecotron but the furni available as the rewards changed periodically every 3 days, to a different set of furni. The previous four slot system has been replaced with twelve slots which means more furniture needs to be recycled to produce a new item. After it was re-introduced the rewards stayed the same during the entire duration.
Furni-Matic Box[]
As a Predecessor to the Ecotron's Box, The Furni-Matic comes with a box that holds a reward as well. However, both the box and the tag, received a graphic rework to have a Science Fiction appearance.
Furni-Matic Prizes During Sci-Fi Campaign[]
In the Sci-Fi campaign of 2012, every few days new prizes would be released for the Furni-Matic. The sets would include a Holo Tree as a common item, a walkway as an uncommon item, and a cryonic chamber as the "arcane" or rare reward. New rewards were typically released at about 13:00 hours GMT with a countdown timer on the hotels landing page.

Reintroduction[]
The Furni-Matic was reintroduced during the New Year's campaign to symbolize new beginnings by recycling old furni. It came brought back with some new rewards as well as some old ones. After New Years, it stayed in the Shop becoming the official recycling feature, replacing the Ecotron. Also, the Grey Holo Tree was released as a permanent prize, as well as the Grey Walkway.
